Flexoprinting

Flexoprinting – is an effective form of advertising. Corporate symbols not only have an attractive appearance, but also make the product recognizable and competitive.

Flexographic printing (flexography, flexoprinting) — is a printing method that involves direct, high-press rotary printing with quick-drying liquid paints that are fixed on various (usually flexible) materials, using elastic printing forms that can be mounted on form cylinders with different circumference lengths.

Today flexoprinting on film – one of the most relevant types of image application on roll packaging materials. With this technology, you can get a full-color image that will have clear boundaries and a clearly visible contrast. This type of printing has virtually no restrictions on the type of material. It can be polypropylene, polyethylene, corrugated cardboard and paper. Many manufacturers today use the flexo printing service. Flexo printing is used to obtain bright, informative and economical packaging for food products, confectionery, textiles, household goods, building materials, etc. This type of packaging ensures the safety and attractiveness of the product for a long time.

Advantages:

  • Simplicity of technology
  • High performance
  • High quality image on a wide range of materials with different surfaces and thicknesses
  • Possibility of combining post-press processes (lamination, die-cutting, folding and gluing) into a single line
  • The print run durability of a photopolymer form (exceeds the print run durability of a conventional monometal offset form by an order of magnitude) and ranges from 1 to 5 million impressions
  • Possibility of roll-to-roll printing at high speed (up to 600 m/min)
  • Cost-effectiveness (low percentage of waste and relatively low energy consumption), due to which the products have a low price
  • Environmentally friendly (in the process of applying the image to the surface of the material, only non-toxic paint, water-based or alcohol-based, is used)

Information on flexo printing capabilities:

  • printing on roll materials: polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), kraft paper
  • thickness of PP, PE material: from 20 to 120 µm
  • Kraft paper density: from 25 to 120 g/m²
  • maximum material width: up to 1250mm
  • maximum flexo printing width: up to 1200mm
  • number of colors: 8 colors
